Central Line Training System

Our SynAtomy Central Line Trainer is a realistic medical training platform designed to help students learn and practice the techniques associated with central venous catheterization. 

Vascular features include the common carotid artery, the superior vena cava (which transitions directly into the inferior vena cava), and the common, subclavian and jugular veins.

The trainer produces realistic imaging under pulse flow Doppler ultrasound due to the imitation of natural blood flow conditions; exhibiting pulsatile blood flow in the arterial vessel and drainage blood flow in the venous vessel.

Description

The SynDaver Central Line Training System is the worlds best platform for central line training.

Students will benefit from the use of SynDaver synthetic tissue which are by far the best in the world with regards to tissue fidelity, haptics, and ultrasound performance. But in addition, the pumping system (wireless tablet controlled) gives the user precise control over both arterial and venous flow loops.

The system will work with any ultrasound equipment and is pulse-flow doppler compatible.

Repetitive practice with this trainer will help students improve their technique and strengthen their confidence with inserting central venous catheters.

Medical professionals who may benefit from practicing on this model include nurses, paramedics, cardiovascular technologist, physicians, EMTs, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Relevant Skills: Central line placement, ultrasound guidance, cutdown, cannulation, catheterization, incisions, suturing, stapling and the application of adhesives.

Included Components: Central Line Pump Base with wireless tablet control (bluetooth), one torso phantom, four skin overlays, four vessel sets, one vessel replacement tool kit and soft tissue storage system.
