The Bleeding modules are developed to teach rapid identification and effective management of bleeding control. The bleeding modules attached to the SimMan 3G manikin may be used “on the fly”, together with a pre programmed scenario or a Patient Case.

The blood will be supported through the SimMan 3G manikin.

The SimMan 3G Bleeding Modules are based on the SimMan Bleeding Trauma kit.

The Bleeding Modules can be used with SimMan 3G Trauma Patient Case Package. They can be used with real life equipment such as a tourniquet.

Wound Location

  • SimMan has Right amputated arm, Right gunshot leg, Left gunshot arm, Left amputated leg
  • SimMan 3G has all wounds on left side to work with bleeding system.

3G Gunshot Arm

  • Wound insert: new design to bring blood flow output closer to the exit wound and to improve bleeding simulation.
  • Hand painted wound to add realism. (SimMan had wound made out of red material)
  • New style Arm Adapter for attachment to 3G.

3G Gunshot Leg

  • Wound insert: New design to fit 3G plattform and to bring blood flow output closer to the exit wound to improve bleeding simulation.
  • Hand painted wound to add realism. (SimMan had wound made out of red material)
  • Bolt for 3G mounted system.

3G Amputated Arm 

  • New internal lever allows use of tourniquet, hand pressure and cuff to stop blood flow.

  • New internal lever allows use of tourniquet, hand pressure and cuff to stop blood flow.
