Giant Functional-Center Brain, 4 part

This popular brain model reproduces the brain of a right-handed person, employing contrasting colours and hand-lettered captions to locate and identify motor and sensory functional centres within the brain.

In addition to focusing on the intellectual role of the dominant left brain, and the creative role of the right brain, the model highlights the emotional, sexual, memory and learning functions of the limbic system.

Sensory regions and centres receptive to 20 specific body regions are distinguished within the brain, as are the motor centres controlling 19 body regions.

The following lobes and regions of this 2-times life-size brain are represented in different colours and labelled in English:

Parietal lobe
Occipital lobe
Temporal lobe
Motor cortex
Somatosensory cortex
Limbic cortex

The twelve cranial nerves and additional features are numbered.
