Running String Task
The Running String Task is a proficiency-based task designed to teach technical skills required in basic laparoscopic surgery.
The string is attached to the left side of the trainer.
It can then be coiled in a counter-clockwise fashion, and, using Maryland Graspers, the string is moved to the right side using a hand-over-hand motion.
This task includes a Right and a Left-Handed Template along with proficiency metrics for self-assessment or skills lab.
