We are pleased to offer a safe, fast and reliable way to move people, using ProMove slings.

In an ideal world, we would only move people using a hoist system but as we all know, in an emergency situation, this can not only be impractical but also impossible. Therefore it is vital that your teams have equipment that maintains the dignity and safety of the individual being moved, but also the safety of those doing the lifting.

This is where a ProMove sling can be useful!

Using a ProMove sling, a team of up to 8 can lift an individual safely and quickly. The person is cradled in the sling and this allows a much safer lifting process for all those involved in the rescue. The head support version of the ProMove sling will cradle the individual¡¯s head and is fitted with two stiffeners.

If your job means that potentially, you will need to manoeuvre people safely, ProMove slings are the ideal choice. They come in a range of sizes depending on the age/weight of the person being lifted.

The adult sling can accommodate the vast majority of adults, including moderately bariatric individuals and larger children. The adult sling has a safe working load of 45 stone (630 lb; 285 kg) but realistically will be too small for individuals of this weight. Please contact us for more details or see our Carrying Sheet.

The design of the sling is very accommodating in order to cater to a range of different sizes and hence there is an overlap between models. All child models have a safe working load of 10 stone (140 lb; 63 kg.)
